A SPECIAL REQUEST TO EVERYONE - PLEASE HELP!
Ron, one of our Canadian Veterans, needs our support badly. He retired from the Royal Canadian Navy in 1982 with over 29 years’ service. In 1987 he was invited to re-enroll, but a serious shortcoming in the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act (CFSA), about which he was not warned, resulted in a shortfall in his pension of $10,000 per year compared to others with similar service. The problem with the CFSA was corrected by Parliament, effective March 1, 2007, but applies to only retired personnel who return to the Regular Force after that date. At age 71 Ron is fighting Stage IV colon cancer and is concerned for the financial well being of his surviving spouse. As the problem has been acknowledged and corrected, it seems only fair that Ron should now receive his rightful pension.

THE DREAMCATCHER LEGEND
Made from a long strand which is woven into an intricate web, the Dreamcatcher allows good dreams to flow through to the one who sleeps, while the bad dreams are tangled helplessly in the web, and perish at dawn.
My Dreamcatchers are well-made and heavily beaded, with a mixture of semi-precious gemstones, craft beads, and feathers. I use a thin, strong, nylon-coated cable or heavy beading thread for the web, and a complementing colored leather to cover the 4" ring. The total length from the top of the ring to the bottom of the Gemstone beads is about 8" to 9". You may hang them beside your bed or window, or they are an ideal size to hang on the rear-view mirror in your car. Examples of gemstone combinations follow, or you may request your own combination and colours:
- Hematite, turquoise, and carnelian
- Amethyst, hematite and moonstone
- Black onyx, malachite, and howlite.
We live in the beautiful, historic town of Lillooet, BC where we have set up our home-based business. If you are travelling through the area, be sure to contact me ahead of time for an appointment to view my dream catchers, or my hand-made jewelry. If you are visiting BC for the 2010 Olympics, be sure to take the scenic circle-route from Whistler to Pemberton, and over the Duffey Lake Road to jade country in historic Lillooet. There are many interesting sites to visit here, and you can drive on to either Cache Creek, or Lytton, and down the Fraser Canyon to Hope, and back to Vancouver.
Each Dreamcatcher costs $25.00 CDN, (plus applicable taxes in Canada). If you order three or more dreamcatchers, the price is $22.00 each CDN. Due to an increase in the cost of shipping, I now charge a flat fee of $5.00 CDN for each package shipped in Canada and the USA. I can fit up to 4 Dreamcatchers in each package.
My hand made, original Dreamcatchers have found homes in many places - the Orient, England, Europe, the U.S., and Australia, to name a few. I hope they are bringing good dreams to their owners.
I will be updating my website periodically with new Dreamcatcher and Jewelry photos, so please check back. Thank you for your patience
